Florida Memorial University

Florida Memorial University is a historically black university located in Miami. The Aviation Department offers programs designed to educate the future administrators and technical managers of the aerospace industry. Academic and flight instruction is supported by a fleet of simulators and a well-stocked aviation resource library. The department offers a Bachelor of Science degree that could lead to careers as aeronautical engineers, air traffic controllers, airline pilots, aviation inspectors, avionics technicians, operations administrators and managers and radio operators.
